In the words of the accused’s attorney

quote:

Based on a disagreement, she got out of the vehicle.

I wonder what could have made her upset enough to get out and stagger into traffic?

It would be a WHOLE lot different on here as well in terms of how people felt about it. I know that for certain

Oh no doubt about that at all.

I'm just saying the case that the cops could put together based on information other than their statements, they could easily make a compelling argument that the only people who could have raped her were the 4 men that took her to their truck. A 19 year old sorority girl is probably in the presence of one or more of her friends for nearly every waking moment of that day except for when they left her at reggies and she went with the perps.

The perps would have to be super coordinated and rock solid for none to crack if they come at each of them with that narrative. Throw on the fact that she was later killed and that white kid is scared out of his mind he's about to be charged with a homicide if he doesn't start clearing his name.

Read something earlier that attorney said her and driver were arguing because she had screwed up where she lived 3 times and he said we can’t keep driving around all night. She said let me out and I’ll get Uber (as if that was going to solve the problem of finding her house)

Can anyone tell me why he asked her 5 times for consent?

Did she say yes 5 times?

Do you want to have sex
Yes
Do you want to have sex
Yes
Do you want to have sex
Yes
Do you want to have sex
Yes
Do you want to have sex
Yes

Something is off with that story. I think she didn’t consent to shite.

Guessing because she was unconscious/unresponsive or near there.

The only people who know for sure are the 5 people in that car. One of them can’t tell her side. ETA i’m not buying their story that she wanted it.

They asked her for her address and she slumped over unresponsive. Then drove 2 minutes away and raped her. One after another.

Washington bonded out today. He's home in Walker with his 'family' now.

My point is, without their statements, how could you beyond a reasonable doubt convict them of rape? For it to be rape, the offending party has to know the victim was not of sound mind to give consent.

It’s not unreasonable that teenagers leaving a college bar would also be drunk and unable to recognize said inebriation of the other individual

But their comments make it clear they were able to recognize her inebriation. They are the ones that provided the slam dunk to the case

The girl that is now 15 yo said in a FB post that Washington raped her 3 years ago and she reported it to the police. She also said a few of her friends said he also rape them. Has this girl and parents and maybe the friends who were also raped by Washington contacted by the police?

And that defends them from the rape charge how?

Doesn't defend them from the rape charge, but does back their statement that she went with them willingly.

.3 BAC should do.

If she got upset and demanded to be let out of the car like some have said, it’s probably because of the a$$-rape.

This is just complete brutality. What kind of satisfaction could possibly be derived from that activity? Especially for the second rapist. Hopefully they get the same treatment in prison.

That just proves she was drunk

Without their comments, how would you reasonably know they were not also inebriated?

How is that relevant?

You can’t claim you were drunk and that’s why you raped someone
