You put a Drivers License Scanner at the front door and if it doesn't pass the scanning detection software you know it is fake. Most bars across the US have these in place to detect fake IDs. They scan and verify the licenses so the fake IDs are immediately discovered. They are inexpensive and easy to use so there isn't an excuse for Reggies not to have one of these at the door.
You can also order scannable IDs from China.
Kids have been doing it since Scruffy was in middle school.
They ship them inside calculators or shoes.
They scan as well.

Weak excuse lol but I hear you

Ben Wynne died of alcohol poisoning. What did the coroner state this girl’s cause of death was?

Nothing will be foolproof but Reggie’s really has no excuse. Everyone in BR knows kids go there

Except it would affect profit margins.

They use the La wallet app now
Too easy to manipulate and very difficult to verify using that App. The state should make the license scanning features a requirement for all bars in Louisiana like they are in 70% of the rest of the US.

Not an excuse. Just a fact regarding those scanners. They are pretty easy to get passed.
The LA Wallet app might work, but know nothing about it.
Reggie’s was a hellhole 17 years ago when Scruffy was there as a freshman.
It is about time that whole area is revamped and Reggie’s is a good place to start.

Lets assume he was speeding...like many of us would be doing on that particular stretch at 3am. He is not the reason she is dead.
Legally you’re in a world of trouble speeding 15+ mph and killing someone.

Exactly where Im at with this story. Surely she didn't go to Reggies solo.
Have any of y’all tried to stay in a cohesive group at the end of a long Reggie’s night when they turn the lights in and kick everyone out? It’s absolute chaos.

She’s in a car, blood alcohol over .391, doesn’t know where she’s going, with these thugs. You can’t tell me that she “freely” consented. She’s probably just trying to do whatever she can to get out alive. There no rehabilitating these bastards hope they burn.

Ben has some contributing factors that weren't solely based on alcohol poisoning.

Where did this number come from? Pretty sure you’re dead at .391

LSU and Baton Rouge are such wonderful communities. Two students have died and another shot in about four and a half months of school this academic year.
Everything about college and getting thousands of young people together is dangerous but pretty much ignored by the system. It’s not just LSU. Four students were murdered in boring Idaho. But LSU and Baton Rouge have a much higher chance of something bad happening due to their shite hole status.

I can agree with this....I was rejected by a scan nazi when buying a can of skoal because license was three days expired... was 48yo

I pray her “friends” feel terrible right now. What kind of shite friends would allow her to bounce with those hood rats? Horrible situation and that family is crushed.
Exactly. Her friends failed her. I wonder if she slipped away purposely without them knowing. She may have been begging to go somewhere (home or another bar) and this trash agreed to take her. Someone 3x over the limit could be completely unable to reasoned with or she could have sneaked away.
Or, of course. They could have just let here freely leave while severely intoxicated with a trashy looking group should have been immediately identified as trouble. I don't know the Reggie's clientele but those guys don't look like the type of people I knew to frequent Sports in 1995 but what the hell does my old arse know.
