So how do you do this? I'm past the bar age ... if you have a fake id with your picture and it scans (is that what they do?), then how can a bartender know to not serve?
What if a guy or girl of age buys a drink for an underage person? How would the bar/bartender ever know?
I truly am curious as to how to better police this.
I'm so glad that our daughter isn't at LSU. We're both alum and so is her older brother but I'm so glad that she's not in BR.

Tate should have appealed to the mayor and police chief to try to help address the rampant crime in the area where his campus is located.

The first thing that needs to happen across tigerland is cover charges. It’s annoying, but that keeps alot of trash out.

You put a Drivers License Scanner at the front door and if it doesn't pass the scanning detection software you know it is fake. Most bars across the US have these in place to detect fake IDs. They scan and verify the licenses so the fake IDs are immediately discovered. They are inexpensive and easy to use so there isn't an excuse for Reggies not to have one of these at the door.
Some bars across the US are now using Clear as well which is really inexpensive for bars to incorporate into their operations.

I disagree. I blame the criminals the most clearly
But I also blame the bar for being a slim and getting an underage girl shitfaced as well

The bartenders would literally watch an underage person approach the bar and hand money to a friend, then pour the drink and watch as the friend hands it to the underage buddy.
They know. Their whole draw is consciously not caring about underage drinking.

Even Ivar’s has a scanner these days. The onus should be on the business especially when Reggie’s is a known high school drinking spot. They definitely have knowledge of underage drinking
