Yeah if you can do it go with a certain dri. The roll on is stronger and my skin gets a rash after 2-3 days. The solid is better for me. I wear it when I have dress shirts to keep from showing sweat. Always works well. Otherwise I use old spice in whatever scent I see on sale and just deal with sweat. Nothing else has ever worked so I might as well smell good.

The absolute best deodorant that I ever used was Arm & Hammer UltraMax roll-on powder. It was pretty much perfect, at least for me.
It was a liquid roll-on that dried very quickly to a fine powder. It would transfer to the inside of your shirt sometimes, but it wasn't visible on the outside, and being a powder it washed right out and never stained anything.
It wasn't slick and gross like a gel, or mushy and smeary like a solid, or wet and sticky like most roll-ons. It went on easy, dried quickly, and kept your pits dry and smelling fresh all day. It felt like you weren't even wearing deodorant, but better. It even washed off easy in the shower.
And then they stopped making it! First it got hard to find in stores, then about a year later it stopped being available online. The best product ever just went away, and I have no idea why. All I can figure is it was killing people and the news never got out.
So these days I use the Degree ultraclear black+white spray, as it's the closest thing I've found to the feeling of that roll-on powder.

I just slather a little cold mustard under each arm and that keeps me cool for nearly 30 minutes but hey it's cheap and if I wear yellow shirts nobody even notices.

I like Degree deodorant. Works great. Really don't like anti-perspirants for all the reasons on this thread.

why is this thread still going on??
you've all been duped into smearing aluminum on your lymph nodes and its going to kill you at some point. just buy some old spice wolfthorn and enjoy your improved quality of life (and non-ruined undershirts)
Exposure to aluminum linked to Alzheimer's disease and dementia according to the latest research. With the growing evidence linking aluminum and Alzheimer’s disease, we all need to personally take steps now to reduce our exposure to this ubiquitous metal.

This is the stuff I've been using for several years now. No aluminum so no nasty yellow pit stains on your shirts, and it does a pretty good job overall. I am a fairly heavy sweater, too, so I usually re-apply after I get home from work.
I tried quite a few different brands before finding this one, so I understand your situation.

Certain Dri. Use the Roll on at night and the solid in the am. It's so powerful I only use the roll on only once a week now. Its a game changer.

Same
I always keep some on hand but only use sporadically. Always works though if you use it properly.

I switch them up. Right now I have RG gel stick and a RG antiperspirant spray. One thing I finally figured out in my 40s is that you don't have to glob the shite on there. A little goes a long way.
