Dentists: Hitler's teeth died in 1945

And the researchers' conclusions, published late last week in the European Journal of Internal Medicine, are unambiguous.
"The teeth are authentic — there is no possible doubt," lead pathologist Philippe Charlier told the AFP news agency. "Our study proves that Hitler died in 1945."

The proof in the article that they are in fact Hitler's teeth is that his dentist said they were Hitler's teeth. Is this all the proof we have? The word of a Nazi dentist?

I’ve never understood how anyone could believe Hitler actually got out of Berlin alive. Even if he’d have wanted to leave he was such in such poor health he could have never made it out and survived a trip to anywhere, much less a trip via submarine or airplane to South America.

He also had ample opportunities to leave Berlin prior to its impending encirclement. There's plenty enough circumstantial evidence to discount the conspiracy theories but people seem to have some innate desire to believe fanciful fantasies in spite of the evidence.
