Anyone have a wind speed in baton rouge. Getting some pretty good gust in Southdowns area.

I’m also curious. I live near L’Auberge and I’d guess these gusts have been around 40 mph? Total guess. Can’t imagine being in sustained hurricane force winds for more than a few minutes.

The video won't work for me. Is it a flash or an ongoing fire?

For a fast moving storm Delta has dropped a frick ton of rain.

Hell, think about how slowly Sally moved. These numbers may be more than it dropped.

What’s that greenish lightning mean
I lived in Memphis in the early 90's in a very old neighborhood with a lot of big trees. We had a massive ice storm with icicles hanging off every branch of every tree and wire on telephone pole. The weight eventually snapped the power line and when the transformer that was on the pole behind my blew the magnification of the light in all the icicles (along with what sounded like bomb going off) nearly gave me a heart attack I thought I was going to my maker that night.

Do I in LC? Got to be border line, don't think I do though.

With all due respect to what y’all been through, there is no way LC has sustained hurricane force winds. The Calcasieu Pass weather station never recorded sustained hurricane force winds (63.9 kt, just under), and that station was as close to the eye as it got.

Iberville Terrace

Plenty of trees but utilities are buried in the neighborhood
