A) You can go west of BR and still not go west of Lafayette

B) Literally one poster in the thread made that claim.

Can we come to an agreement that gustav (11mph) compared to delta (17mph) was a more fuel efficient hurricane. Basically a Prius versus 1/2 ton silverado.

I’d consider the storm track shifting further west each time tangible data.

I’ll begin preparing my speech.

I’ll start by thanking my dad for not wanting to evacuate.

Oh you mean LC’s mayor has been touting the city’s service. They got some company riding right behind checking them.

They honestly ain’t doing crap. All the mess on the road by the Park is still there except by the rich folks houses.

The 00z GFS supposedly has the extra upper level air data in it and it's west of 18z. It's coming in almost due south of LC, but at a NNE trajectory.

So some were wrong. So what?

You flung a dart and hit a good spot. Congrats on your brain, Nash.

Why not just be relieved and humble?

Basically same spot as Laura but different trajectory. Coming from SW instead of SE.

Worse for surge.

I live less than a quarter mile from a debris staging site. Haven’t seen a single truck on my street. Covered my entire property in sawdust mulching Laura trees. Will likely have debris damage to out of pocket Laura repairs from their site. Just saying help a brother out, half my house is out on my lawn.

Pretty much splits the difference between LC and Laffy coming ashore a little west of Pecan Island then passing around Crowley / Jennings
