The shifts west did not help anybody. Lake Chuck will be slammed with the western eye wall and Laffy will be hammered with the northeastern Eye Wall. Friday is gonna SUUUUUUUCK.

Roll Tide Ravens - where do you get this detailed map with the eye path?

I’m just using an app from my local ABC affiliate. There’s an app called “Storm Radar” that will do pretty much the same thing.

This site, but it usually takes about until 10:15 to update after the 10p track is out, always 15 min later
LINK
You have to Click Tropical Track at the bottom,
Click off all the other crap.

WBRZ updates sooner
but not as big of a map
LINK
Scroll down Interactive Maps,
click on Trop Storm track

Yeah it seems like the time frame making big jumps ever few updates. Went from late Friday to midday Friday back to late Friday evening. I’m assuming it’s because they are unsure of speed it will moving when it makes the turn.

It's just the pre-set time frames they use with each full update. By 7PM it's supposed to be in Lake Arthur, so landfall is actually 5PM in this run, if it's traveling 15 or so MPH. The interval in the 4PM update had it about 45 miles off the coast at 1PM Friday, so about 3 hours from landfall, or 4PM.

I had that map or similar. I'd place about three marks and then forget about it.

No joke. My in-laws busted out an old map earlier. Mil was tearing through drawers looking for the dry erase marker

I’m staying at the 4 seasons in Krotz Springs Friday, do you think I should reconsider?
