Careful! You’ll get an “un-organic” bingo square.

what the frick does the eye being closed do?

It means that Delta has now rotated storms all the way around the eye. It is a sign of continued organization and strengthening.

It means it doesn't have to "waste" time and energy as much. It can release heat energy more efficiently now, so if it's going to strengthen much at all, this was the next step.

Sigh...

I’m praying for all in Louisiana, SWLA specifically. I pray we all weather this storm with abundant blessings. To all my fellow TD posters in or near SWLA,

I heard Josh Eachus this morning. He said weaker storm goes more west and stronger storm more east. After hearing that, I would think it would shift east some if it gets cat 3.

I’m not trying to be a dick but how do you have two homes in south Louisiana and not know the answer to this? It’s not like you’ve never been through a hurricane

Praying for everyone in SWLA! I’m over in Covington, have a dozen family members evacuating to us. Will have plenty of beer and food for them. I lived through Katrina and know how stressful evacuating is. Everyone keep the faith, Louisiana will band together.
