If it clears the eye out in the next several hours, it will likely be pretty big.

Appears it's 30-40 miles or so across based on recon fixes.

I used to be fascinated by hurricanes. I think this year has cured me.

It's pretty big, so I think it'll be a little more steady of an increase. Still had an open eyewall to the NE on the first pass. Needs more organization but we have a steady strengthening phase ongoing tonight.

We use Crown Weather Services at work, they blow the NHC out of the water. Just saying.

I’m guessing that is Marsh Island on the west side of Teal.

I really need to pull up a map and learn all these places you have referenced.

I hate to be specific question asker, but assuming Delta passes west of BR as it looks (just a question of how far), a wind from the west would come on the back side and most likely not be a strong as the south or east wind we’d get before the eye passed us latitude wise? Right?

The only thing I’m worried about is a gigantic tree about 50 feet from my house to the west. I couldn’t give frick if it falls in any other direction (no neighbors in range), but that thing would frick up my house if it fell due east.

Again, sorry to ask a question about specific conditions in my location days out.

Bro, Marsh Island is the 4th largest island in the continental US.
