I finally got my internet back from Suddenlink. The guys working on it just knocked on my door and let me know. Too bad I will probably lose it again from Delta.

Indeed, we're in Lafayette, if it was just my wife and I we'd probably just stay put. Having a 2 week old means we'll probably load up tomorrow evening and head to the inlaws in Metairie for a couple days.

Okay the person that told me about the second deductible is a fricking moron. It’s an all peril deductible.
Yeah that makes sense. Essentially the regular deductible applies to every individual claim, but the named storm deductible is seasonal.

Looks like this things is fizzling out. That’s great news! Might even just be a tropical storm by landfall. Land interaction with MX shredded it up.

Only need 48 more people.
I was on a production platform for Hurricane Danny.
Maybe we’ll get to 50, but Rummy isn’t in the club no matter how much he’d like to be.

It still has a lot of warm water to cover before landfall

Boarded up, but only because I had the supplies left over from Laura. Got a big arse picture window in the front of the house... shitload of debris laying around, didn’t want to take a chance.

I’m in south LC... I think I’ll just go ahead and do it. I still have the boards and shite in the garage from a month ago...

Anyone in the Walker area? My s/o wants to go to Covington. Trying to convince her we’ll be okay
Tighten the straps to the ground and put tires on your roof.
If things get too bad just hook it up to your truck and roll out
