Yep hitting the spot. Speaking of the spot to be, this thread is about to blow the roof off today. Maybe treefiddy.

LC is literally 40 miles from being outside of the cone. One more shift East would be great.

The cone narrows as the storm approaches so if it stays on the current track LC will be out of the cone 24 hours from now.

It hasn’t rained much in Baton Rouge the last couple weeks. Does that have any impact on tree loss? I’ve always thought that saturated ground recently meant better chances of trees coming down.

True statement.

Pecans are a vital part of life in Terrebonne gift shops

It’s moving NW already, I don’t see how it doesn’t shift further East and make the turn sooner.

*** note, I am not a meteorologist... Just noting if shifted from WNW to NW what appears sooner than expected.

Ahh damn. Just didn't have it in you. Can't hide your true colors for more than two sentences.

Saturated soils are bad for live oaks or any tree that has a root structure wide and shallow. They can become uprooted in high winds.

Less arguing about pecans and income, more talk about this track and hoping it doesn't shift east.
If yall keep this shite up, it's gonna turn into 3 pages of trying to sign thru arguments, questions and people just posting tracks with no context like the titty milk jewelry debacle.

At least if it makes the turn early and tracks east, New Orleans is ready. The SWB and Entergy New Orleans are the best in the world at protecting their customers and restoring services. The Mayor and City Council have no peers when it comes to their excellent level of selfless service to their constituents.

Because in the next 3 hours it could move due west or WNW. If yoy look at detailed tracks of these things they move far more jerkily than those nice straight lines you typixally see indicate.

This was expected and will see some correction to keep it on an overall WNW heading. You're seeing some interaction with the leftovers of Gamma but the ridge steering it is still sending it WNW.

The Cancun Hard Rock Cafe Resort webcam (linked in this thread yesterday afternoon) stopped functioning at 5:35am.

In case anyone finds that information useful.

Why do you have to respond like a complete a-hole? You know nothing of that poster and it's rather easy to simply read past his post. Who gives a frick what you lost? Hint, some of us who have empathy for people who suffer losses regardless of how significant it sounds on a messageboard. Good luck rebuilding but quit shitting on others.
