Nothing centrist about him. Left wing count.

Seems like the plane was leaning right a little at touch but seemed she was going to safely land. What gave?

Saw new video this morning. Looks like it touched down hard. Right gear collapsed. Right wing either hit the ground and got torn off or snapped off with hard landing?

Not the greatest view but it didn’t look like all of those videos of a wobbly landing or a near “go around” type landing.

Planes weren't crashing in the sky under Pete.

No, just toxic train derailments. Only extremely low IQ people can make every single event a political fight and that goes for both sides

Dear God are the sky screamers dumb. This happened in Canada and had nothing to do with the FAA. Incredible no one was killed. Looks like they hit the deck hard causing a failure that led to the crash. Amazing footage form the plane waiting to take off.

Looks like the right wing collapsed after the hard landing and the left wing was still creating lift which made the plane actually flip over.

The majority of these smaller planes are flown by your more junior pilots. I fly many of these planes from smaller towns to your larger connection airports. I’ve been on a few where we had some hard landings and as I’m getting off the plane, I see pilots that look like they are in their 20’s. It’s not a far stretch to assume that the weather conditions and the inexperience of a more junior pilot may have contributed to this event, whereas a more senior pilot may have handled the conditions much better.

This is just my observation from the more recent video shared from the cockpit of another plane that was sitting on the runway, waiting to take off.

that was a straight up 'catch the 3 wire and hope we don't bounce' type of landing. interesting to know rate of descent at touchdown.

Wonder if that pilot who recorded it normally records as he’s holding short or if he saw them coming in hot and thought I better record this guy.

I had a flight attendant apologize for our former naval aviator's hard landing habits
