You’d have to be directly on the coast to just get a ‘little dusting’

I understand your point. It's just annoying is all. Anyways, I'll drop it. I apologize for being a downer to people in here. Hope everyone is prosperous and has fun then this turns into nothing.

I left BR last year, I have been thru two blizzards now, it’s not fun on the road. From the window last week wasn’t that bad.

Here’s a friendly observation… log off or STFU. None of us assholes on here wishing for snow or no snow actually have any effect on what happens Tuesday.

Edit- saw your reply just above, that’s the spirit. Hope everyone comes out of it fine, and all that happens is some days off with family and friends, good food, and lifelong memories. Cheers.

You’re referring to the low res NAM version that maintained a sleet vs snow line much further north (LA/MS state line). The much more high res version, 3km resolution, moves that line to the damn coast.

Dew Point in BR has dropped below freezing and probably won't go above until Thursday/Friday

I’m sad that it appears I will end up with very little to nothing out of this system. You folks in the impact area enjoy it!

This is the first time in a long time I'm happy to get very little or no snow.
I have a week coming up where I'm going to need to drive over three or four counties, and it isn't much of a choice. So, I'm hoping to see nothing here in north AL. It will be fun watching the south LA folks get this one.

Any moisture in air turns to solid instead of liquid form. When you get a frost instead of dew on the ground.

Chicken, smoked sausage, andouille gumbo. Making my chicken broth today, and chopping everything up. Let sit outside overnight. Tomorrow, roux and add everything all day. Outside overnight, and the warm up to eat all day Tuesday. Serving with Zatarains honey butter cornbread. Will imagine I live in Wyoming on Tuesday…

No. It was the outlier yesterday. Now it's coming into agreement with the other models.

I said don't focus on just it.

The weather forecast for my area are all over the place. Snow from 2 to 8 inches and a low temp from 20 to 12 on Tuesday. Winter weather is hard to predict.

I don't know what it means, but the geese have shown up in huge numbers at my place in north AL. They've been flying and honking all morning.

Same here Bosc. I’m in Denham. The only thing I know for certain is freezing for most of the week. And gumbo in my belly.

But I’m feeling pretty good about some snow. And more than possibly I’ve ever seen. I have a small inverter generator, 20 gallons of ethanol free gas, and a big stack of firewood with my wood and starter already built in the fireplace. Just ready to light up. Life feels good.

Quickly went to a nothing event for central Alabama overnight. Hoping it changes but for now it looks like cold and nothing more.

You Louisiana folks enjoy it.
