Yep. My roof is almost completely clear except for the north side and some on the east side. Yard is starting to clear up. Half the depth is probably already gone.

One thing I learned today. When I went outside today to clean some of the snow off the roof and the vehicles is I should have worn sunglasses. The sun bouncing off the snow was bright as frick. When I came back in the house I couldn’t see shite

Tell me you’re OT poor and have never been to Aspen.

#kidding

I opened my windows and noticed the glare was extremely intense this morning. The sun was bouncing off of that glorious 12-14” powder.

I always thought it was strange seeing cool skiers wearing sunglasses. I now know why.

I’m afraid of heights so skiing never interested me. My parents used to go every year during Mardi Gras. I always just went to NOLA.

I am heading from Houston to New Orleans tomorrow for a wedding of a good friend I have to attend. Any chance I make it alive? I know I-10 is shut but I hear 190 is still going.

I asked ChatGPT if this gulf coast snow storm broke snowfall records.

quote:

Yes, the recent snowstorm along the Gulf Coast has broken several snowfall records:

Florida: Milton recorded 8.8 inches of snow, surpassing the state's previous record of 4 inches set in 1954.
REUTERS

Louisiana: New Orleans experienced up to 10 inches of snow, exceeding the city's previous record of 8 inches from 1963.
ASSOCIATED PRESS

Alabama: Mobile reported 7.5 inches of snow, breaking the previous record of 3.6 inches set in 1973.
CNN

Texas: Houston saw up to 4 inches of snow, marking the highest snowfall since 1960.
