Jealous, what a cool almost once in a lifetime experience. I’m sure the kids are loving it.

I'm not sure who had more fun today, me or the kids

I would choose a blizzard over a hurricane any day of the week. You don’t even have to leave the house, its great.

I am. All day I was wishing my kids were still little and my dog was still alive. My daughter did have a blast on LSU campus today. She took some great videos.

The entire Highway 90 corridor from NOLA to Morgan City seems to be the bullseye

I’m guessing that if there was no precipitation this would have just been a cold arse day?

A lot of kids had a blast today and despite being kids they’re still in the same boat as you - they will never see it like this again

MS coast.
Brackish water had the consistency of a slushy

I can throw a rock to Hwy 90, and we definitely have two foot drifts all over the place. Not sure what the actual snowfall is, but if we weren’t in the bullseye, then we were close enough.

In louisiana we really cheat our duck dogs out of what they were bred for. They are some machines in the cold weather.

Yeah it’s a shame. He loves this, and at 10 I’m afraid it’s likely his last time he gets to see it

Let that good boy play in it as long as you can.

No offense but I sure as heck hope it’s the last time your dog sees a blizzard in south La.

If my house weren't old as shite and off the ground with copper pipes everywhere, I could deal with this once a year. Its pretty damn fun if you dont have to go anywhere.
Eta: or if you dont have to go outside every 2 hours to make sure nothing froze, and maybe heat gun a pipe under the house at 2am cause an ice cycle stopped the faucets up
