It’s not fluffy fun snow. It’s tiny snowflakes but we’ve got at least and inch or so of accumulation so far
Can any of the weather knowledgeable posters tell us if it will turn to cotton ball like flakes?

It’s a whiteout in Metairie now, starting to accumulate snow rapidly.

What part of Metairie? I’m not seeing that yet near the Metairie lakefront area

Well, I know the buildup to this has been enormous. Everyone has been excited. Everyone has been ready hoping for all of this…. Well, the blizzard conditions in LC are REAL! I walked outside for 3 minutes just for the experience. Yeah, frick that. I’m out. The wind is brutal and gusting to 30-35. That’s a no for me. This nonsense can end now. Awful. Zero stars and do not reccomend. Stay inside! It’s pretty to look at and all, but I’m thankful this is not something we ever have to deal with!

Southern baws on here always having threads about where they’d move to when the time permits and 90% respond with a cold/cooler area that gets snow. Now, they get a few inches and it’s hell nah! Y’all too funny. Yeah, snow sucks. There’s a reason our ancestors chose to grow strawberries and catch crawfish.

Side note, crawfish prices creeping up with every centimeter of snow.

Because they refused to swear allegiance to the British crown. They had no problem with the snow in Canada.
