My daughter got a new puppy yesterday. It’s one of those poodle mixes. The next three days are going to be hell. Good thing his kennel is in her room on the other side of the house.
She’s at work tonight so I am sitting. I’m waiting for him to stop crying so I can take him out of the kennel to try and potty again.
My two GSD’s are going nuts to get to him and see what it is.

Yes! We took a Min Pin in from a neighbor whose son turned out to be allergic to dogs. He was the funniest, sweetest little pup ever, all 8lbs of him. He was a beloved member of our family for 19 years.
Miss him lots, so much so, I'll never have another dog. He was tiny, but his loss was massive.

This has been the best dog ever. She loves us and we love her. Plus she loves the outdoors and will corner rabbits, possums, and all kinds of critters. She still loves French fries too.
She is an inside dog, but loves to play outside when we walk.
Peaches! That's the name my Wife gave her. I am very glad to see her. We were talking about her not too long ago. I lost my house in the flood and was staying with my sister and brother in law, along with my wife, kids, and myself. She was a sweetheart.

Good looking dog. Well behaved too. Hasn’t barked and barely moved this whole time.

She got bigger than I thought she would.

It’s a close up. She’s still the same size, maybe slightly fatter.

Love these dog threads. If I ever really met someone at Sonic, it be to pet their dog.

It's safe to say that I like your dog better than everyone in this thread.

We got one of the best doggies ever from a dog pound. It’s a mixed husky/shepherd/?
Great disposition and not needy at all!

Great looking dog, best wishes as you bond and enjoy life together. Dogs > cats.

We are back in our home. Still not 100%, but we do some each year when we can. Nothing major left.
I'm pretty sure it was in December when we gave her away. But I could be wrong. When the flood happened I had one kid on my shoulders, my wife had a kid in her arms, my big retriever/lab mix was swimming in the water beside me, and peaches was riding in our little blue plastic kids swimming pool floating on the water as we walked to higher ground at the end of the street where my dad was there in his truck to get us. By my house, the water was already waist deep and by the end of the road, that end anyway, was no water.
