Thanks, did not know what a suite neighbor was referring to. With that additional info, screw them.

If you don’t give me a Christmas present I will be furious. There will be no quid pro quo - I just want a present.

My office neighbor gets chocolate covered pecans every year from some outfit. The postman delivered it to me by mistake one time. Now I make sure to intercept it and ole baw is none the wiser.

99% of the time these are super shitty.

Just ignore it and tell them to get back to work. They obviously have too much time on their hands to worry about petty shite like this.

Apparently the company who sent it called to ask how they enjoyed it

Damn. If I understand the 3rd paragraph correctly...and it isn't an easy read baw, not easy at all...go buy them cookies of equal or greater quality and be done with it. Office chicks are all about making drama and you should know that. Kindly deliver the cookies, let them know this was the only thing taken from the basket and get on with your life.

I just realized i made some mistakes in the parentheses. What I get for editing it on the fly.

I don't work with them. They just have the suite next to mine.

Any gestures made should be made by level of attractiveness and likelihood of sex. Overweight Mona is still going to be miserable. Some gourmet cookies will not change the situation.

I thought up a similar concept (it's not THAT new) for LC in like 2014 and it never got off the ground. That was at the old space I used.

*ETA: it was just meant for LC people (due to the impending explosion of money and people) and would have been a DISASTER.

Dear Facebook: need some advice with petty office neighbor drama
OK so tis the season for gifts from all sorts of companies that either do business with me or want to do business with me. Last week, I was delivered (as in, personally delivered by an employee of the company to my hands) a gift basket by a title company. It was fancy sweet stuff.

My suite neighbor across the hall (long relationship with her over about 8 years) commented that she wanted the cookies, so I gave her the cookies. I left the bag on a corner table by my door.

Apparently, Monday (while I was out) my other suite neighbor (female owner and female employee that I don't know and haven't even really exchanged words with) came to my office looking for the package. My assistant answered and was told that the gift bag was meant for THEIR office, and they snatched it up. They were also made that I "ate all of the stuff" and left angry.

Do I try to buy some symbolic cookie gift to make up for the error, or just say frick it because they were rude? I was thinking of getting some gourmet cookies from a local shop but then when I heard they accused me of eating it all, I kind of want to get them some dollar tree cookies as as frick you.

This is why you go to work to WORK and not socialize or fraternize.

Good luck in your upcoming sexual harassment investigation.
