Jesus Christ that Kyle guy replying to the tweet of the video is exhibiting an absolutely ruthless display of trolling.

Holy smokes thats awful. The lawsuit coming is enormous.
Defendants ordered to pay 10,000 candied apples, 9000 pounds of cotton candy, a deep-fried apology letter, and one of the big Stuffed animals...ifThe plaintiff can knock down these jugs in three throws.

This video shows what's supposed to happen. The floor is supposed to lower before the ride starts. In the video of this accident, it doesn't look like it did.

What I find interesting about shite like this happening is that people are like "never riding rides again!!" But that's literally so illogical.... thousands of people die every single day in car crashes, many of which are 100% outside of their control, and no one blinks a fricking eye when they get in their Toyota death machine every morning... and then 1 person dies on a fair ride, or a shark eats 1 person, or a small plane crashes and kills 5 and people are freaking out about never doing those activities again like it's somehow the most dangerous thing they'll ever do. You people do the most dangerous thing you'll ever do in your life EVERY DAY, WILLINGLY
you could ride a carnival ride daily for the rest of your life and there's almost no chance this would happen to you
But yeah. Sad story.

I wouldn't drive in a car driven and maintained by some illegal immigrants from some Eastern block state that are only here in the US to escape some type of persecution.

Yeah but you drive on the same road as those people and there is nothing you can do if they're stoned out of their mind and plow into you, and it's way more likely, so...

I've often thought about what it would be like to go to a fair if I had never seen or heard of rides before. I'd be like "Are you out of your fricking mind? I'm not getting on that creaky rusty death trap"

They are interviewing people on the Today show. They are interviewing a family from the Aryan Nation.

Older rides like the tiltawhirl and scrambler were built to be simple and sturdy so they could be taken apart, hauled around and reassembled repeatedly. These new rides are more complex making reassembly more difficult. They have more components to inspect. The travel carnival s are trying to compete with amusement parks. At some point, permanent rides always have the advantage.

If you freeze the OP video at like 4.5 seconds you can see that in addition to the row of seats being knocked off, 2 additional people were thrown from a much higher height. Horrible.

Grez.
Is that one person's legs on the ride still or two people? If one person's that is all sorts of messed up

THIS!

Most of us are very professional and good at our job and don't do drugs.
Well, all of the ones who fall into that category must hide out during the day in those crapped out campers that follow the carnivals because 99% of the carnies I've ever seen have less than 25% of their teeth, eyes as yellow as my piss in the morning after drinking all night long, and can only do math to the point of making change for a twenty, in whole dollars (don't ask them to figure out coins).

Road the same type of ride last year at the Jambalaya festival in Gonzales.
Not going to lie, it made me nervous then. Now I might think twice before I do something like that again.

It's not like you have a choice as a working adult who contributes to society. Vehicles are a necessity. I can go my whole life without stepping foot on a carnival ride.
