Deadly Fort Stewart helicopter crash may have been intentional

A crash that involved two Army helicopters and killed a soldier in Georgia last week was “not an accident” and officials are probing whether it was done intentionally, a report said on Tuesday.
Capt. James Bellew, 26, was on MedEvac duty when two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters were involved in a crash at an airfield at Fort Stewart around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Bellew was found dead at the site of the crash. A source told the Army Times a criminal investigation was underway.
Officials haven’t released details of what they referred to only as an “incident,” but apparently only Bellew was involved.
“The initial indication is that all other crewmembers were asleep at the time of the incident,” said Lt. Col. Lindsey Elder of the 3rd Infantry Division.

The article seems to imply suicide but I would like to hear from someone who knows more.

You have to figure there is at least one OT'er at Stewart and you know how the rumors get around base quickly.

Questions to ask:
Did the deceased make any statements or other indications that he was depressed or considering suicide?
Did the deceased recently convert to Islam? If so, any indication that it was the Radicalized type of Islam?

The newspaper identified Bellew as a native of Charlottesville, Virginia
Well, we can wrap this up and conclude that white supremacy was definitely to blame.

The one sure thing about this is that deceased soldier will definitely be voting democrat now. Several times each election for over a hundred years

So did he take off and then intentionally crash into a parked Blackhawk?

I would respectfully suggest that his response was due to the fact that your post was 100% irrelevant to the thread.

For telling the truth?

I could ping some friends in the community but this one has a very bad vibe to it.

My uncle retired out of Ft Campbell flying Blackhawks. Still has connections in the community. He just texted, "Confirmed suicide". TIFWIW.

That difference makes me more inclined to believe what your uncle has passed along.

Exactly.
Some people are so ate up to make everything political even when there is no need to that their brains are now mush. I mean the dude isn't even cold yet and you have this jackleg making it political when it is absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for.
They are just as mentally ill as progressives.
