That's what I would argue in court.

It's why lots of courts don't even allow the testimony/evidence of the DREC. They just go by the officer's statements/experience/blahblahblah which is good enough almost all of the time.

Dude, use your freaking head. Oh, I'm sorry, you don't have a brain anymore because of all the pots you have smoked.

Stop comparing alcohol to weed. THEY AREN'T THE SAME THING.

Alcohol is in the Bible. FACT.

Alcohol is less toxic on the system. FACT.

Alcohol can't be changed in order to make it more potent. FACT.

Also, would you rather have drivers on the road after two joints or a guy after 8 beers? lol I don't know about you reefdorks, but I'll definitely take the latter.

LucasP, is that you?

Supporting alcohol's legality while being against marijuana's requires a great deal of cognitive dissonance. You can't make a sound, factual arguement to support it.

Edit- being a teetotaler is a respectable if misguided tradition. I wish more people that wanted weed to stay illegal came out the same way.

Look it's got its place in medicinal use. So do other narcotics. Doesn't mean they shouldbe on the shelf next to Tylenol. The general public is tresponsible enough for that.

There are a lot of things next to Tylenol that could frick your world up.

The people against weed never bring up good arguments, just ones that make you seem like an idiot.

I don't smoke either, but I would like to grow it and give it away to friends. So many different variations, strains, etc. Seems interesting.

I would def get into the industry if it became legal. I would do the foods and pill whatever to help with my pain and anxiety.

So because you became a boring prude, I should be labeled a criminal because I like to enjoy a non toxic relaxant in the privacy of my own home?

I'm a grown arse man. I work hard, pay taxes, and help people whenever I'm needed. Thank God I live in a state that realizes that prohibition is a net negative to society.

By the time Bama and LSU play, I'll be smoking some homegrown blue dream at my house. Why? Because in a few great places, America is finally home of the free.

What if people decide guns, cars, alcohol, tylenol, and port should be banned for the same reason?

We're individuals and responsible for our own safety.

Why the fk would an agency, whose existence is dependent on more things being illegal substances, be the ones in charge of making this decision.

Guys, this country is so fricking broken.

No man. You should be labeled a criminal because you're committing a crime.

This is a really good point. It's a conflict of interest. Their budget would be affected if they were to reclassify.

If you don't care why do you want it illegal? You must be a big supporter of big government. I could see you voting for Hillary too
