re: DB Cooper survived. Here's why

I have always been interested in D.B. Cooper ever since I was a kid and watched the 1980s story about him on Unsolved Mysteries.

He likely landed hard, resulting in the money bag ripping open. Which could have rendered him unconscious. The Columbia River probably washed him and the money bag out to sea, due to the heavy rain and swollen water

Yea, i believe he survived. It's not crazy that he had a good plan. And he got through the plan flawlessly. Him jumping out of the plane with a good plan of what to do and where to go is the easy part. Home free.

The flight crew (playing the looooong game) planted the $5k bundle out there on the Columbia/(Columbo?) River and waited years and years and facilitated the bait bundle to be found.
