If you think Cali is enforcing mask mandates and vaccines, you’re wrong. I just spent three days in LA for New Years and never once wore a mask or was asked for vaccine.

As a matter of fact, in the last month I’ve traveled to and stayed in DC, Philly and Boston and I’m yet to be asked for a vaccine card.

A friend of mine lives in San Fran and came down to LA to visit family for the holidays. He came to Nola for a couple of days to visit his sister and said he’s never been asked for his vaccine card more than when he was in New Orleans.

By all accounts I’ve heard, omicron version is mild for everyone. Those saying theirs was mild because of the fact that they were 3x vaccinated are simply reiterating what they have heard at this point.

Yeah some of the vaccine lovers need to post the receipts of studies proving your symptoms are less.

Where are the studies?

If you take 1,000 people and have 500 vaccinated with Pfizer and 500 unvaccinated and six months later your vaccinated are getting boosters and some of the unvaccinated are now vaccinated, well you don’t have a study.

I'm not entirely convinced that a local mandate is constitutional if a traveler from out of state, that has no such mandate, is denied the liberty of purchasing and consuming a shrimp po-boy.

I heard this woman at my gym today say that she has her 1 and 4 year olds enrolled in the Moderna trials for the vaccine.

Some people in this world shouldn't be allowed to breed, this is an example of that.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. But it doesn’t matter because there has been little to no pushback, legally speaking, to any of these power grabs and overreaches. What the government has wanted to do they have done since the beginning. Why would anybody in government be concerned with what’s legal or not at this point?

“Sometimes people call but most of the time people just come in and if they’re not vaccinated, then we ask to see proof, then they leave,” said Conrad Chura, owner of Wakin’ Bakin’ restaurant in the French Quarter.
Why? Does the law force business owners to become deputies to police vaccines? If not, frick him. That is so stupid.

My response:

Business owner: "Are you vaccinated?"

Me: "Yes"

Business Owner: "Show me proof."

Me: "Nope. You either trust me, or I don't trust whether (loudly so other diners can hear) your food is contaminated and your kitchen is filled with rotted meat and rats! I don't know how anyone can eat here without getting sick."

Me: "Trust is a two-way street. Speaking of street, there's one. I think I'll go across it to someone's business who trusts me as a valued customer. Have a great day! (loudly) I hope nobody get sick and dies from eating rat shite!"

A few people do that and he'll get the point and stop.

t’s in her genes. She comes from a long line of left-wing loons. Her parents are bat shite crazy. She’s been a weirdo her entire life. She was an outcast in high school. And then again in college. And then again in med school. Then she married a pretty ingrained and corrupt guy in the city of New Orleans a few years ago. Kurt Weigle was the CEO of the Downtown Development District for almost 20 years. It’s a pretty cush and nonsensical state job based in the city. He abruptly resigned in November 2020. Then, he takes an executive position with an upstart biotech company in Nola. Wanna take a guess what they specialize in?? Just click the link.

You missed one section of her life. She was married to a teacher at Jesuit which ended in divorce prior to Kurt. I’ve known her personally for awhile now and she has really gone bat shite insane and I feel for her because she doesn’t even know how stupid she looks here to all of her close friends. Even they are wondering how she has gone off the rails this badly.

For what’s going around now? Doesn’t really seem like it. Nobody should be all that concerned with what’s going around now, regardless, though.

I'm interested in some of this proof

ETA: My bad, thought your post was about masks, not the vaccine.

The superspreaders ARE the vaccinated so letting them in with a VAX card is a joke.

They are the one's walking around with mild symptoms, believing that don't have it, and passing it around like a virulent STD.

You know what I did last week as an unvaccinated individual after my vaccinated nephew gave it to me on Christmas eve? Stayed home and beat the hangover in 3 days.
