So much so that you'd frequently bring it up in front of your spouse?

I mean, I suppose it takes all types...

No, but she made a mean cup of coffee. Rough hands but they became incredibly smooth. I’m certain she hadn’t worn that dress in years…

No I personally wouldn't but I can see someone romanticizing it and making it seem larger than life in their mind.

Did she have a need to feel the thunder
To chase the lightning from the sky
To watch a storm with all its wonder
Raging in her lover's eyes

A juvenile relationship?

I think there's a word for that.

Not to mention that's not what's happening here. Dude said that she often brings him up. That's fricking sad.

It’s not as difficult if you’re the one who kills the husband

Tell her if she was still with him today she wouldn't be alone in having frozen arse feet under the covers.

Then remind her that she won't have that issue with you.

It really depends. I’m in my 50’s so if she checked a lot of other boxes and I was really into her I could probably do it. I never have though.

I did date a woman who lost a 4 year old daughter to cancer. That was difficult.

I was interested in a friend who lost her husband 14 years ago. I asked her out for four years but she always had to work or our schedules never meshed for whatever reasons. We live a mile apart and are the same age but it’s hard for me to believe that she hasn’t had sexual relations during the past four years I have been pursuing her. She doesn’t have any problems borrowing money from me.

I hope that’s a troll post.

I dated and married a widow. I was also widowed. We enjoy sharing stories about our deceased mates - we both had great marriages.

Aren’t all kinds of dating at an older (post-25) age basically comparison games?

He isn’t wrong. Even the ones that “have their shite together” are somewhat that way
