Dashcam video shows gun battle between 2 Pennsylvania State Police troopers and motorist
LINK
The video shows a routine traffic stop by state police that turned into a frantic gun battle along Route 33. Its publication represents a rare instance in Pennsylvania in which police dash camera video was made public.
Northampton County prosecutors released it to The Morning Call and other media on Thursday, six weeks after they used it to win Daniel K. Clary’s conviction for the attempted murder Nov. 7, 2017, of two law enforcement officers

And people wonder why they are quick to use deadly force.

Policemen have incredibly difficult jobs. The public feels entitled now to behave however they want whenever they want.
99.999999% of a policeman's career is coffee and donuts, with 0.000001% of terrifying split second decision making.
Are there bad cops who make poor decisions? Yes. If people weren't entitled idiots would it happen less often? Yes

Well I don't need coffee to wake up this morning that was fricking intense. Wish the troopers would have killed him though so we didn't have to pay for him.

I.CANT.EVEN. Did the cops explain in detail why he was being stopped and have the victim’s consent to detainment or any further enforcement action ? Was the victim close to his own subdivision or home ? Was he stopped for something that the victim did not feel should be priority at the time.
Maybe the victim had a bad day and didn’t really feel like dealing with the cops. If he was close to his own subdivision or thought the cops should have been investigating murders they should have left him alone.

Remember when the black guy is getting out his wallet like the cop asked and then get shot for doing such, while parked in a gas station parking lot? Or the body camera of the cop who kills two dogs who were running around having a good time (it would be different if it were pit bulls, but these were little bitch dogs). Or the time that one cop shot a guy getting out of his flipped SUV?
I wonder why these cops are so quick to kill?

This has to be a troll or sarcasm.

It is sarcasm I detect. Sounds like someone we all know...who felt too entitled to step out of his vehicle.

Speeding at 87 mph and seemingly not being able to pass field sobriety isn’t a priority to you? Don’t you think that endangers the public at large?
Or should we just allow criminals to act freely because they *feel* cops should focus on other criminals?

It isn’t funny or well done if thats what it turns out to be. Seems more like an uneducated person spouting off nonsense based on the name, sentence structure etc.

Maybe your reading comprehension could use improvement. I stated that perhaps the “victim” did not feel it was priority. A la Gravy Baby. You struck that bait like a 6 pound speckled trout hitting a top water plug at dawn.

Didunuffin. Poor man was speeding because he was late for class. Resisted because the man is always trying to hold him down.

Like it or not, the standard is not whether there was an objective threat, but whether there was a reasonably perceived threat.

“The Morning Call sought access to the dashcam video because the attempted homicide of two state troopers and Clary’s allegation that the troopers used excessive force are of great concern to the public in the current environment,” said Theresa Rang, the newspaper’s interim editor.
The video didn’t turn out like the newspaper hoped. Cops were right, idiot was wrong.

You can’t even? Did you learn that phrase from your trailer park daughter as well? Go back to the OB

But I thought 2 grown men should be able to handle one person?
I wish a speedy recovery for the officer.

I back the police 100%, but good god they need to go back to school. They’re lucky to be alive.
