Crabbing into the wind like a boss.

A few things:

Birmingham (BHX) is notorious for its strong crosswind, there are some crazy videos out there

That pilot did a damn good job, crabbing into the wind then straightened out right as the wheels touched down

Interesting name choice for the storm, didn’t realize the Brits appreciated B-rate mid American R&B singers

Bonus points to OP for using a South Asian gif in a post about Birmingham

Can that runway be a little more hilly?

Had one of these landings during hurricane Rita in Jackson. Pucker factor of 10. It was awful. All of the flight attendants were being flown on our flight ahead of the path of the storm as Texas airports closed after our flight (we flew from Vegas through Austin). My gf refused to sit next to me on the plane in case we crashed.

Telephoto lens makes it look worse. Saying that, I'm surprised a runway has any "hill" in it.

That’s Birmingham, UK. Not AL.

There have been quite a few of these throughout Europe due to this storm.

A flight from JFK to London made it in less that 5 hours due to the strong upper air winds powering the storm. It's a non-Concorde record.

Ah, well that makes sense.

Crosswinds at the airport plus the fact that it's in Alabama, who would ever go?
