Would love to make the trip all interstate, but this will be me if I wait until the section of I-49 between Texarkana and Fort Smith is done.

LaDOTD says hold my beer in the frickup category and Louisiana government for failing to fund infrastructure projects.

LaDOTD and their contractors are falling behind on several bridge projects in my area.

So you are saying it’s much like all winter in Louisiana? All grey and clouded over the entire season? At least it’s not nearly underwater and flat.

No, just more homeless and mental health problems.

Every place has give and take.

Except maybe Ohio. Seems miserable there.

Spent significant time in Cleveland and Cincinnati doing loan portfolio analysis and negotiation in the 90’s. The early winter and spring were almost lifeless it seemed. Not even birds very much. An even worse dull gray, worse than Louisiana winters.

Yes it is. My son is up there. But it’s growing so fast. Lots of construction. Traffic. Area is kinda artsy.

I’m in hot springs now on my way to eureka springs on my motorcycle. Was hoping to see some fall colors but I saw on the news they’re getting close to breaking a record of days without rain.
