These threads are pathetic - There wasn't this much crying when Biden had gas at $5.02 a gallon in 2022.

Wife normally pays high $30's for a tank. This week it was $51. If the extra $13 makes you skip meals or get evicted, you are doing life totally wrong.

Of course there was. And it never went over $5 in MS or LA. That will soon likely be a reality with South Pars burning.

Yes, there was. Ironically, it was done by the crowd saying high prices aren't bad today.

The reason people didn’t complain as much about gas prices under Joe is because every fricking thing else was going up in price at a rapid pace. It’s not identity politics it’s fact. Yeah gas is high and going up, it sucks and Trump needs to figure it out. But don’t act like we didn’t just live through this shite 2 years ago.

Did you make any posts similar to this when Biden was in office with higher gas prices & 9% inflation? Just curious.

No they said the president didn’t control gas prices back then but somehow Trump does. They’re hypocrites and morons.

Why did prices go up under Biden? It's pretty clear that prices are going up now because Trump (Israel) decided to get into another endless war with Iran. Was there anything Biden did around 2022-23 to cause that?

What? From what I remember we were all bitching nonstop. Every other gas pump had one of the Biden "i did that" stickers on it.

People talked about it constantly. There were stickers on pumps everywhere you went.

Rightfully so. Don't have selective memory.

None. Is that a bad thing that he didn't start a war?

yeah irresponsible rampant government spending caused that. It doesn't matter if the money is spent on war, foreign aid, tranny research, etc. It all eventually just devalues the dollar when it's financed. You can't blame it solely on either of the two major political parties. Neither have shown that they are willing to actually go through with reversing things.

No I'm just trying to figure out how Biden raised prices in 2022 if he didn't start a war.

2022 was due to Russia/Ukraine as well as a hangover from Covid and a unpredictable spike in demand.

Oil is a global commodity so removal of supply anywhere in the world changes the entire market.

Biden imposed restrictions on Russian oil so if you want to blame him that would be the direct reason.
