Absolutely not.
Some folks need to learn the difference between accidental and unintentional, the distinction is large.
And some folks need to realize that they aren’t as much of a Webster as they think they are and a word is just a word, and that word can have variations.

What?
I am sure that sounded better in your head than it reads typed out, all your former teachers and parents are crying right now.

I didn’t come within miles of saying that.

That’s all I said.

Regardless of the trespasser's occupation, most people are thrown off when an unwelcome visitor shows up in their home, brandishing a firearm.

She was on desk duty that day.

Apparently not, since she was sexting with her partner and wanting him to come over for sex.

They are playing the body cam footage froma few of the responding officers.
Botham Jean's apartment was small. He had art on the wall, a cluttered kitchen counter and most importantly, the apartment was lit by the TV and his laptop.
Its impossible for her to have gone into that mans apartment and not immediately realized it wasn't hers.
Also, she didn't even attempt to render him First Aid. If you shot an innocent person, wouldn't that be the first thing you'd do, especially if that's part of your training

Yeah, watching it now. Absolutely impossible she didn't know immediately. And dude died feet from his couch, not anywhere close to the front door. Absolutely awful shoot and can easily see why they got a grand jury to indict on murder.

Lol, yes. Texas has the most perfect legal system ever! No one is ever found innocent. In fact, even the cops are perfect in Texas...wait...shite...
That’s not what I was saying at all. I was responding to your post that if they go for murder you don’t see her being convicted. I was letting you know that they can charge and try her for murder and the jury can find her guilty and she can be sentenced for less than murder. She’s not getting off and going free. The community is angry about this one and the jury was pulled from that community.

But if this DA doesn’t offer a plea and goes for Murder I don’t see that happening.

She murdered him. Guilty.

Where in the apt does she claimed to have been when she shot victim? I agree, if you get more than 2 feet inside the apt, it seems pretty clear to be able to notice you are in wrong place.

What can she possibly be saying that she didn't realize it wasn't her place? It doesn't make any since.

Hell, the big red doormat they showed was enough for me.
No way someone misses that when entering the apartment.

911 call, body camera video played for jurors in Amber Guyger murder trial
Partial VIDEO in link.
LINK
Key piece today was Jean had a faint pulse when Police arrived and CPR was initiated.
Guyger did not render aid of any sort after shooting Jean .

This has been confirmed? Because I listened to a 911 call and it sounded like she was talking to him? So did she just stand next to him?
Posted on 9/24/19 at 2:11 pm to Restomod
On or off duty, she didn't follow procedure at any point of this incident.
Plenty of obvious tells it wasn't her apartment.
Going to be difficult for the defense to get this knocked down from outright murder.

That's what was said in report in previous post that it was the responding Officer Lee who gave CPR

What's your point here? Has anyone in this thread said she should walk?
Unless something else comes up showing that she intentionally killed him, if I'm on the jury I don't see anything that keeps this as murder. She screwed up twice, entering the wrong apt and then shooting him too soon. She should definitely go to jail. I just don't understand the hatred some have for her. Again, that's with the evidence on hand.
