It is the Law of Merited Impossibility:

It will NEVER happen, and when it does, you worthless, racist hayseeds deserve it.

That's fine. So why aren't the patient or timely in issuing these orders.

At this point, I don't think anyone would take issue with an April 30th order. Why can't they look at the situation on, say, April 24th to determine if it needs to be extended?

Not sure about specific dates. Hospitals in Dallas are ramping up and reorganizing for a massive influx of China flu patients.

I'm going to say Austin since Harris County announced this week until April 30.

Meanwhile, 2/3rds of Dallas County just left their house to go get supplies.

Collin County needs to put up roadblocks on 75 and DNT to keep the southern scum out.

Not saying it isnt possible, but we should actually be ahead of schedule.

We literally have a Major Intl Airport in the middle of the Metroplex.

Virus penetration would logically have occurred faster.

Well they changed the law then I remember back in 1990 that it was dry when I was there.

Dallas County was not dry in 1990. There were voting precincts that were dry up until just a few years ago, and there may still be a few of them that are dry. Garland Road/Forest Hills area and Lemmon Avenue near Highland Park were dry precincts a few years ago but have voted to sell liquor now.

I'm hoping this is more so people don't start getting cocky too soon since the original order expired this month. B/c we're not out of this yet, but if everyone can stay home another 3 to 4 weeks it's going to start looking A LOT better.
