When I lived in Dallas (2005-2012) this same guy was involved in a controversy where someone on city council stated something regarding a "black hole" and he called it racist. The reference was in regards to something to do with an issue where they were spending money, but nothing was changing. This guy is a piece of crap. A black hole is a scientific term.

Dude has been involved in Dallas city and county politics for well over 30 years. He just beat the rap from the J Edgar Hoovers, the IRS & the US Attorney's Office in Federal Court after they investigated him for a decade for political corruption.
He ain't going anywhere. He's the Teflon Don of the Metroplex if ever there was one.

Texas state ethics officials have determined that Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price is guilty of violating campaign finance disclosure laws.
Price was found to have violated several campaign finance disclosure laws and has been fined $3,400. The violations track back to Price's campaign reports from 2012 through 2014.
The Texas Ethics Commission found numerous violations for not properly reporting tens of thousands of dollars in contributions and expenditures.
Most, but not all of the irregularities have been corrected.
The violations have nothing to do with the corruption charges he was cleared of last month.

Umm is the 18th district of Texas in Houston....?
Why yes yes it is.
18th District
I will admit though that Dallas county is full of white guilt voters and culcha south of I-30. It is predominantly a Democratic county.

This guy is a hypocrite and pandering to his " voting base".
I bet that anytime he is sitting on the dais of a public meeting there is at least one police officer assigned to that meeting for his security. Additionally I bet there is a "panic button" right in front of him in the event a member of the public becomes belligerent. Who does he think is coming in that door to possibly take a bullet for his sorry arse when he presses that button? It's not a BLM member I promise.

One of these days people will pay attention to who they are voting into office based on character verses local accomplishments.

How federal prosecutors fricked up their case against him a month ago is amazing. He should be in jail.

LOL
those Katrina refugees are coming home to roost in Houston. They keep growing, and will continue to gain ground in offices, voting in more and more derelicts.
