Every day from June 23 to August 3 temperatures were in the triple digits with the record 113° temps coming on June 26 and 27, and only slightly cooler on the 28th (112°).

Frick, my dad reminds me how hot it was that summer yearly.

I think 2011 was worse (imo).

The year I was born. My flatulence must have caused a ton of global warming. My bad, baws.

Back then I bet people were walking around saying it's hot outchea

I was only 9 but remember that summer. The Little League season was rough.

That also was the summer of "Who Shot J.R.?"

I wasn't here in '80 but was here in 2011 when we came within 2 days of tying the '80 record of consecutive triple digit days. It was hot but I was pissed we didn't break the record. All that suffering for 2nd place.

It was bad in Atlanta and my dumbass scheduled a running class at school where we ran around an asphalt track at noon.

Maybe we really have been in that mini ice age they were warning about.

Last summer I took the family to Seaworld in San Antonio in July and just about died of heat stroke. And it was only about 102.

It was 110 in Houston with high arse humidity. I had moved for a construction job and had never been in anywhere so hot in my life!

I was there for that whole summer.
I helped to build a fence line at a ranch owned by my Aunt and Uncle.
It was pretty damn hot.

Missed 1980 but hit 2011

That one was a bitch. Didn’t go outside for days at some points.
On the plus side 2019 has been really mild. We had a 40 degree day with rain in May and low 60s in June.
ETA: didn’t refresh to see it had been mentioned.

I don’t know what the temp was but the LSU game against App State before the hurricane was one of the hottest days of my life. Post game pitcher of beer at Pluckers never tasted so good.
