That is the dumbest thing said on here this year.....
Pilots typically run side by side with other planes for 4 hours.
Dude going 200mph and is hit on his left rear end kind of out of his control.

So anytime you wreck your car it's your fault?

Military pilots want to get from Point A to Point B safely.
So do race car drivers. But neither are in the transportation business, so safety is not their top priority. That is the difference.

As a military pilot, I feel confident in saying you are full of shite.

I got a little more careful that day.
There was no way I thought Dale would die in a racecar. I mean, I knew the open face helmet was an anachronism, but he was tough as nails.
I won't track a car w/o a HANS, and now they're mandated anyway.
His death, while tragic, did bring many changes to the sport, SAFER barriers, crew safety requirements, etc
RIP, Ironhead.

Same age as his dad when NASCAR started its nosedive. Most folks today wouldn’t believe that it was more popular than baseball at one point.
Was rasslin and nascar really popular in the late 90s or was I just white trash growing up

It's crazy how time flies.
He turns 50 on October 10th.

You're getting downvoted but you're 100% right. (Which is why you're getting downvoted)
Jeff Gordon and Ryan Newman are both alive today due to Dale's death. It wasn't in vain.

Bad analogy is bad. This might me the worst take ever on this board and that's saying a lot. Holy Hell.
Take a posting break for a while
