HIGHS tomorrow
48 in Dallas
52 in Shreveport
59 in Alexandria

Smarter people: Why are we not getting the good stuff? A low meets a front?

Dallas is further west? And today is a rainy miserable day. It feels good, but it’s nasty out.

We're not getting it! That's my question. Huge ridge I'd suspect. What a waste of a cold front. Someone give me the details.

And pissing down rain. It's been raining here for 3 days and we still have another day of heavy rain...i.e. another 3 to 4" tonight and tomorrow. Already have 5" the last 3 days.

Fronts don’t just stretch on forever, that front didn’t reach down to BR. We’ll get one that does

Here's the answer. Thanks guys.

The front will struggle to push
completely though the area as an upper level trof over the Ohio valley slows and stalls along with a strong upper level ridge over Florida. The pattern will remain fairly locked throughout the week

Ridges are winter killers! I hate them!

Okay? What about next week and the week after? The next two weeks in the southeast are supposed to cool off dramatically. By the end of the week, the lows in BR are set to be in the low to mid 50's. That is right within and somewhat below the average. Sunday is forecasting a low of 49 btw
