Current Ram Reliability?

In your opinion, has the current generation of Ram trucks been around long enough to form an opinion about their reliability? If so, what are your opinions?
Thank you.
Thank you.

I haven't owned the current model but I've had 2 Rams and a Dakota and they were all fine vehicles for me.

I generally enjoy giving Dodge a hard time, but it does appear they have improved this truck significantly. It's the best looking truck inside and out available now.
I don't think I could bring myself to buy one yet, but if they are still good in 5 years maybe. I doubt it, but maybe.

I’ve gotten 2 new ones as rentals in the last few weeks. I really like them. Comfortable as hell, ride great and have plenty of pep. Can’t speak for the longevity, but I dogged one pretty hard up down the Blueridge parkway and it held up fine

The hemi debuted in 2003 and was slightly reworked in 2009. The current 8 speed transmission has been in the trucks since 2013. Both of those driveline components are very reliable.
As for the tech, I never had an issue with the 2011 or 2015 that I owned. Can’t speak to the 2019+ but reviews have been good.

It's still a DODGE, don't care that they just put RAM on it. Trade and re-sell value is kaput. That's why many have said for forever, "You Buy a Dodge, You die with a Dodge." because you can't ever get rid of it.

Your name should be Boomerman.
That post is so sad in 2020.

Yeah none of that is true. They are the second best selling truck right now. Fit, features, performance are all there.
I have a 20 ram, they threw in a 100k warranty bumper to bumper for basically nothing.

Go look at trading it in on a 2020 Toyota Tundra or Ford F 150 and see what you are offered.

Bc they know it’ll never make it there

Long time Ford guy bought a 2019 Ram Limited 1500. Have had a couple minor issues but it's an awesome truck. True luxury

You'll have a bunch of retards down voting you that have never owned or driven a Ram because their pappy always drove Ford or Chevy but they are fine. I drive a F150 now but I don't like it as much as my 09 Ram.

I looked really hard at them a d really like the new truck, but I've had two GM 5.3's with almost 400k on them combined without any problems, so I couldn't make myself get away from it.

Again, just wait until you wish to sell it or trade it in. Then you'll see what one is really worth.

I've owned 3 of them. I'd trade my 2017 F150 for a comparably equipped Ram tomorrow
And I don't hate my current truck.

I've owned Nissan frontiers since 2005, my wife has owned explorers, a Tahoe, and a suburban.
Guess whose vehicle has never been in the shop? My Nissan's and my ram. But the board is all about Ford, Chevy, and Toyota.

Ram has a higher resale value than F150 and Tundra in 18 and 19, gramps. Sounds like you have no idea what you're doing when it's time to trade in.
May want to put down your classified newspaper ads.

I’ve got a 1976 Dodge Power Wagon 4WD that has 720,000 mile on it and nothing has been done except oil change, battery and one starter.
I’m not worried about trade in value. I don’t buy for trade in. I buy trucks because I use a fricking truck for what it’s made to do. Haul and tow and this one is a beast.
You worried about trade in value you must work at a florist. Buy a fricking Miata.
