I have a good bit and I can only surmise the back market propels it at this point

If I have stock in say Dow chemical.
I own a tiny portion of company.
A company with intellectual property.
With assets like production units which generate profit.

Stock in legit companies is nothing like Crypto.
Crypto is based upon nothing.
No physical assets.

A vast, overwhelming amount of crypto is a scam.

Bitcoin is not.

If you end up losing your shirt bc you bought a bunch of fartcoin or Shiba then that's on you.

And bitcoin has increased from $4,000 to $110,000 in 5 years

Good luck in your boomer market

Investing and trading are different for me. I’m invested in BTC, ETH, and a much smaller extent XRP. But I’ve pulled out and net free for years on all.

I trade XRP SOL HBAR . Looking to open up a long position on HBAR, but don’t want to buy at the top right now.

A lot of crypto is worthless. Some isn’t. Buy it or don’t.

A tiny ownership that you have zero way of generating revenue from (sans unguaranteed dividends) except what?

That's right: to sell that ownership to the greater fool.

They’ll tax you out of your property by illegally taxing unrealized gains under the guise of reassessments.

The meme coins are legalized ponzi schemes. Every single one of them gets a major rug pull and people gave thousands of their money to them lose it all then act surprised.

The technology around crypto is useful in practical applications. The only reason crypto is even still popular (outside of some insane growth in the popular coins) is because crypto bros do not STFU about it. Marketing 101.
