Why should I trust you?

You didn’t even mention Elvis in your diatribe.

You were alive and old enough to remember Jimi Hendrix dying yet you cuss like a sailor and have the screen name Geekboy on a message board. Seems someone your age would be a little more mature.

I was sad when Kobe died but mainly because I thought about his daughter dying with him. It made me think about my kids and I choked up about that thought. If that makes me soft, then I’m very doughy.

Yes, sadly they do. I know I’ve stepped on countless snowflake’s toes with this observation but we are also leaning at the same time about the posters that are pissed about what I’ve said here.

Your OP is the only thing screaming snowflake in here. It sounds like you must know a lot of people crying over this. It's hitting you hard realizing your group of friends is made up of bunch of snowflakes, including you. You should all hug it out and let those tears flow.

You did not know this person personally. You have zero idea what they are like as a person. You were never in a personal relationship with them. They weren’t family, they weren’t even a friend.

You have friends from the past that have died and you didn’t cry about them. But you cry and sob over someone you don’t know???

I find the odd at least in the modern generation.

Guy cried when Kobe died but did not want to pay respects to a family member that had passed because they would moss a party.

I find it more commonplace.

How about when Mike the Tiger died? A ton of Rant snowflakes got all maudlin and boo hoo’ed. I got banned by a snowflake moderator for posting that it’s just a tiger; bury it, and buy another one.

I've always thought it was stupid how people treat celebrities' in general. I see them as people paid to entertain me if I choose to be entertained by them. I would never cry when they died. I would never kiss their arse if I met them. They are just people. Nothing special about them. And I certainly don't want to hear their political views.

Not sure why people are giving you shite. If someone really is crying over the death of Chandler and they didn’t know him then you’re right. They’re weirdos.

For many people, Perry’s death reminds them that things are not what they used to be and maybe a piece of their younger self has died as well. I am 54 and Friends came on in my 20’s. Its sad to me that one of those actors who you related to is now gone. I am not crying about it, but I can see why people will. It shows that life is passing you by.

All those in this thread that agree with me, I want you in our military. Then I’ll feel safe about our country. The rest of you, go join a quilting club and take up badminton.
Also let us know how your sex change operation went after transitioning from a man to a woman.

crying over the death of Chandler

Some may have trouble identifying it but it's not the death of Chandler that's saddening but rather the loss of something that was such a big part of their past.
