Anyone here ever done a Hawaiian cruise with Norwegian? We’re doing a 7 day around the islands over Xmas (per parents request free trip!)

How deplorable are Hawaiian cruises? How does Norwegian rank? I would imagine a $1000+ plane ticket to get to the islands would weed out the clientele that takes cruises out of Nola or Mobile.

Plus the ability to wake up every day in a different port.

Screw that............cruises are awesome. Been on 7. All the food you can eat............drinks everywhere you turn around. And you get to see alot of islands or locations in a short time. Dont pick one that the olds go on. You will fine. (and you do realize that pic of the hotties was ON a cruise........right?)

I agree. The wife and I have done five, mostly on Royal Caribbean. All different ships. Did one European cruise out of Rome. Hit Venice, Croatia, Corfu, Sicily and other spots. Might do a Northeast foliage cruise next and then Alaska. You wake up in a different spot every day. Do some excursions; sight-see, shop, grab some lunch. Don't sail with trashy cruise lines, pick the right ship/itinerary to avoid the kids and geriatric lizards.

Anyway, it’s not even true, you ever try partying in Miami ? 3 nights of a hotel and south beach would be waaaay more than a cruise

You get on a boat, you drink, you eat, they have activities, you can go to the spa, you listen to music, then on a few days, you get off the boat in a foreign locale and get to hang out for a few hours.

What exactly is wrong with any of this?

Jesus!

I've heard people say "We had a good time. I am glad we went, but I don't plan on going again"

I even heard someone say "It was fun, but if I do one again I will do the 3 day instead of 7 day"..

I never heard someone say "Man I love cruises! I could go on one every year!"

What hotel picks up and changes countries every day?

I guess I could make seven different hotel reservations and check in and out each day and handle my own transportation.

Or i could let the cruise handle it all.

I'm going on two this year.

Some people love to go to Disney every year.

Some people love to go to 30A every year.
