Any of you know a superior athlete who ran cross country over another regular sport (or as a supplement to another sport maybe)..?

Maybe some kids just want to participate in something. Geeez. Not everyone cares about being the 2nd string DB just so they can wear a jersey on Friday and think they're cool. Some actually like running distances.

At my school cross country kids were pretty low key, disciplined, AP types.

It's a dumb thread, but I'm not sure what it's saying if the poster child of the sport you're touting, is a guy who had to cheat his arse off to exceed in another one.

Great sport for kids that aren't fat lineman types...... probably the most in shape kids there are.
