Crop Circle in Subdivision?

I was on satellite view of google maps checking out property lines in my neighborhood, found this in a resident's back yard. What am I looking at?

I zoom in on mapquest, can't get as close, pic not as clear, but it is an Iron Cross-looking design whenever this aerial photo was taken

Weirder is that the property owner blocks their own view of it with that grove of cypress on the right side of the pics. It was meant to only be seen from the air.
