Am I the only one who picks up on the anger and lack of self esteem these kids have?

There was a bunch of different clips of girls saying frick you I'm not a girl. To me that self hate is the root of all of this. The gender indentification or sexual orientation, whatever you want to call it seems to be part of a wall these kids put up to somehow insulate themselves. I think if you ever sat down with one of them and were able to peel back the layers of anger and bullshite you would find kids/ people that are just hurting or carrying around some heavy emotional shite. I just never got a sense that those in the video could honestly look themselves in the mirror and say they truly love who they are. Just my dumb opinion though.

That's been my contention as well. Many of these individuals are so immature they don't realize that it's not that people don't care about gays or fluid or whatever, it's that people don't care about anyone. They're just a group that decided to cry about it more than anyone else. These kids need to wake up. I don't go around proclaiming how straight I am because who gives a shite? Same for gays, transgender, etc. No one cares what you are so quit crying about it and stop making us listen to your sexual choices. I would rather you lose the attitude and just be yourself and introduce yourself as Mary or Bob. You're likely to get a response of "hi bob, nice to meet you" - tell me again why you want to force me to know who you like to associate with behind closed doors? Yeesh. Go be happy people.

I don't think the group think persona helps any of them, I think it actually makes it worse. Who knows how many frick you I'm not a girl vine videos there are but joining in with a group of similarly angry people does nothing but further isolate them from mainstream society. As far as the whole proclaiming your sexuality, I think it's done because if gives them a false sense of power in their somewhat powerless life. Think about it. It's a protection mechanism. If an angry hurting kid starts identifying as being gay, trans, gender neutral or what ever else you wanna come up with, he moves into a protected segment of society. Also no one can question or judge him for anything without being labeled as some sort of homophobe, transphobe, or any other 'phobe. That type of power is very tempting to those who feel powerless.

Well first off I would never fly any sort of flag in my yard. It's just not my thing. Secondly I don't feel the need to shout from the roof tops how much I love getting nasty with a girl with a great arse and a nice pair of tits either.

I was thinking about a scenario that would be funny to try and get away with. Around the college I got to, this past week has seen the LGBT club put up posters everywhere of I assume current members with the heading. Out.. I have a name. I thought it would be interesting to strike up a conversation and start telling them about some girl I hooked up with and all the crazy shite and different positions we had sex in. If I could get a response of why the frick are you telling me this because I don't care, I could point to their poster and ask well isn't that what you're doing? I care as much about knowing you suck dick as you do about my sex life... Unfortunately I would probably get expelled for hate speech or some other bullshite
