My dads is in the same boat. We got his credit score after my mom passed and he was livid with how low it was.

785 - I paid a lump sum of $21k to finish off my student loans so they dropped my credit score by 25 points.

820ish. It fluctuates 5 points a month for no reason. It’s pointless since I’m not going to finance anything.

I had an 835 until I had an auto charge on a credit card I barely used and somehow had my billing changed to paperless and missed a $30 bill. Those assholes dropped it to 750. A year later and I'm back up to 780 again. Assholes.

You 800+ peacocks are likely mis-using credit in context of wealth-building.

Congratulations?

808 on credit karma. Haven't looked in a long time. It used to be higher. Like 830s.

The irony is it would be higher if I carried debt. I have a rewards card that I pay off every payday, and that's it. No car payment. No mortgage.

It's a dumb system.

Looks like I need more accounts, and older accounts to get it higher.

My car is paid off and I owe $0 on my credit cards every month. You're a dumb arse.

817. Im 39 and apparently my Length of Credit History and Credit Mix are only Very Good, not Exceptional, which is funny to me.

I have had a mortgage since 2009, a few auto loans since then ( now paid off) and a daily use credit card that I rack up plenty of normal usage on and pay off each month.
