I love watching videos like this, esp cock pit recordings

Death makes you feel so alive.

On the bright side, there hasn’t been a major airline crash in the US in almost 20 years. You’ll be fine

You take my breath away, you're a supernova, and I'm a space-bound rocket ship and your heart's the Moon
And I'm aimin' right at you
Two-hundred-fifty-thousand miles on a clear night in June
And I'm aimin' right at you

Any particular word that is common to these two phrases?

That’s from a few months back. Did it not ever make it here?

The report said that the male captain was the one who pulled the wrong lever, fwiw.

Well, of course. Now that everyone is dead, and no one left that can refute their 'findings'

Apparently people said it was on here but I never saw it. I just stumbled across the video and it shook me to my core. This was the first ever video to record a plane crash from inside the plane.

The white lever (flaps) is what she wanted to pull. She mistakenly pulled the black lever next to it which feathered the propellers.

I'll bet she was texting someone when it happened.

I just bring my prescription Xanax tabs with me in my toiletries bag. Pop two of them right before takeoff and I'm cool as a cucumber. Won't have any anxiety attacks during the flight. My flight anxiety used to be so bad that I didn't fly for three years. If I wanted to take a vacation somewhere, I just drove there.

100% agree with this. These videos, while horrible to watch, should remind people to be grateful for just being alive.

My first instinct was to watch this. However there’s enough people on here saying they’d wished they hadn’t.

I’m gonna go with not watch. Thanks for your advice.

It's tragic that more hasn't been done insulate passengers from loss in the case when a plane crashes. Just another example of the failures of human engineering.
