It’s objectively weird for someone with no ties to a state to constantly post about it on the intent

Meh, Lakewood, technically. Although I have never used that name or heard anyone use it in real life. I’d probably call it West End if I thought about it.

More importantly, imagine hearing those sounds when you’re almost ready to wake up for work. People in Lakeview neighborhood groups said they fell out of bed onto the ground.

I think 2 people were actually shot, of 4 “victims”.

Yes! Like a ball and chain. I feel so much guilt for making plans to move. Elderly family, you don’t want to break up cousins, etc. Screw the food; I can cook it anywhere, or eat it when I visit.

The district is that large. Predates the expressway. Saw that during the last election.

I've never heard of Dixon. I'm trying to figure out what that even encompasses.

It looks like the area behind Costco over by that canal. I've never heard that word either. I don't even know what I would call that neighborhood

Yes. Mandeville, Covington, River Ranch, and Youngsville are probably the only four suburbs in LA that are safe to live in and are away from the crime.

Someone via reddit posted a video you can hear the rounds going off.

That clip reminded me of a bag of microwave popcorn. Each time you think it's done, a few more kernels go off. Then a few more .... and a few more...

Also seems the video was stopped before the popping was completely done.

From what I read, a group of engineering students confronted a group of architecture students wearing UNO colors in that LSU affiliated hood. Sad.

Different districts had a lot more officers. District 3 has a 7-10 minute emergency response time. I think that district has 60 full time officers, obviously not all work at the same time, but they also have other officers that help with after hour police escort officers that will escort you to your vehicle. Also school resource officers.

I say all of that because it suprised me. The only reason I know is they came and talked at our work place. But one of the cops talking said she lives in New Orleans East, and knows the cops arent coming if she calls, so she would expect an hour response for an emergency.
