Craziest way you’ve heard of someone getting rich?

I dated a girl whose father bought a bunch of land in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi to raise cattle. After he bought the land he found out there was an enormous amount of gravel underneath the dirt. He put up a little shed and sat there collecting money every day from trucks that drove through purchasing gravel from him to build roads, etc.
He became a multi-millionaire selling these rocks.
