Due to de-segregation still being implemented in BR in the early 80's (still might be the case) small children would have to ride buses to a transfer spot and then switch buses before continuing the journey in a different bus to a school in the ghetto.

I never rode the bus... but my company is currently being sued by parents due to a very long story... but a 14 yr old gave a 16 year old a blowjob on a school bus.

My bus driver in elementary was a mean, mean lady. She didn't allow us to have food on the bus. A guy had some pretzels in his bag one time and she saw him eating them looking through her magic mirror in the front of the bus and since I was sitting near him and we were talking she blamed both of us on eating those damn pretzels. She talked to the principal and pulled us out of class to wash all 6 school bus interiors one morning. It was so nasty. I quit riding after 6th grade.

accidentally got on the wrong bus one rainy day pre-k....

Gotcha. I grew up in that era also, we still had buses for schools out toward the edge of the city that encompassed some rural areas though.
