Why not? Keg of natural light. Shitty DJ. Have it catered by some crappy fried food place.

Depends on the couple. If you have a smaller informal wedding I could see it working. People should be able to do what they want. Who am I to tell them what they shouldnt eat at a wedding?

I was going to say it would be a pain in the arse in a suit, but anyone having crawfish at a wedding is going to have guests in Magellan shirts and "nice" jeans.

Is there an open bar?
What else do you go to a wedding for? Give a shite about people getting married. Let me eat and drink for free and dance when there isn’t a shitty song playing.

White beans and jambalaya only.

I have no problem with the idea...however, I think you would be hard pressed to get most people to eat crawfish while dressed up. I wouldn't waste the money.

It was my first marriage and her second. She had already had a formal wedding and I didn't want one.
So we hired a caterer and rented a hall. We mingled while the crawfish were cooking and started the ceremony when they shut off the burners to soak.
I wore shorts and an LSU Polo shirt. The entire group dressed casually and comfortably.
A few I dos and the ceremony was over when the crawfish were ready.
Many have told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
