Outside those with real actual talent, it’s the most awkward gift ever. Every year people giving others something they made or personalized. Real talk. I don’t need my initials on something. I don’t need something you made.
Take that crap and leave it on Etsy.
I feel like this makes me a jerk but I never could stand the crap growing up and hated it after I was grown. We all know who those people are in the family. I rather just be given nothing. I can’t stand the awkwardness after you open it and they just stare at you. Thanks...for this plant pot you made in ceramics class, Linda.

A buddy of mine decided he needed to get me a gift this year even though we have never exchanged gifts. He chose to take the only picture he had of me and my fiancé and blow it up on canvas so we could hang on our wall. That picture happened to be when we were on vacation and by the pool.
