Cox coming today 3-5 to fix my cable

This will be the fourth time since we got power pack on Sept. 17th. What time do you think they will show up and do you think this time it will be fixed? Can't get Fox, Cnn or Espn. Other channels are hit and miss.

I hope you requested a supervisor or someone who is not one of their regularly contracted technicians. Because those dudes don't know jack shite, and they will all do the same shite every time they come (change your cables, change the line from the pole to your house, tell you that your box is old/outdated and needs replacement, change your splitters, etc.). It's a list of shite they go through and none of it ever is the real reason it's fricking up.
Cox is coming to my house Friday because my shite keeps messing up and not working. And I swear if they try to make me change out my cable box I'm gonna lose my mind. I've had to change it twice already, and lost everything I had recorded on them. It's maddening.

They’ll try and finagle the “service call” fee out of you. Cox is such a shite company. Raising rates without telling people, saying the “promotion” expired, locking people into 2 year contracts, shite internet service, and the list goes on and on.

I’m a contractor for them and I know my shite. Now I don’t work on the inside anymore. If most of them can’t fix the inside from the tap to the house, then it’s plant issue. As a contractor, it’s hard for us to get maintenance to fix that shite.

How old is your house? The older the house, the more issues you’re bound to have with wiring or other infrastructure.

Cox contractor here.
Been to the same business site 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
Each time was 4-6 hours onsite and each time we were cleared to go with nothing being accomplished at all.
Customer has been going through this merry-go-round with them in some shape or form since May.
Just billed for 3 work orders and will get paid.
YMMV.

I got a thing saying a package I have to show ID and sign for will be in between 9:30 and 1:00 today, so I swung by work and picked up what I've been working on and came home figuring I'll go back in after lunch.
2:00 now, and no sign of FedEx.
I swear if I stayed home and it gets pushed to tomorrow, I'm going to be so mad.

Might as well just go back to the office for the day. No chance they show up before 5. Best bet is to request the first appt of the day.
